Jungli the Nomad Village - Refund, Cancellation & Residency Policy
1. General Terms
Jungli the Nomad Village operates as an application-based learning residency, not a commercial hotel or guesthouse.
All individuals accepted to participate in the Jungli Experiential Learning Residency ("Residents") agree to abide by the following terms for the safety, wellbeing, and integrity of the learning community.
- All residents must be at least 18 years of age, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- It is mandatory to present valid government-issued identification upon arrival for registration. Acceptable forms include Passport, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Driver's License. (PAN Cards are not accepted.)
- Residents with local IDs from the immediate area may be subject to additional verification or may not be admitted.
- Non-resident visitors are not permitted inside private quarters. Meetings with external guests must take place in designated common areas only.
- Residents are fully responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.
- Pets are generally not allowed unless expressly approved under Jungli's Pet Policy (please email info@junglithenomad.com for case-specific authorization).
- The management reserves full discretion to approve, decline, or terminate residencies or visits based on alignment with Jungli's community guidelines and values.
- Right of admission and continuation is reserved by Exalt Enviroklen Private Limited.
2. Residency Contribution and Refunds
- Any advance contribution made during the application or acceptance process is strictly non-refundable.
- Full prepayment of the program contribution is required upon or prior to arrival at the residency.
- Refunds, if processed under exceptional circumstances (e.g., verified medical emergencies or force majeure), may take up to 7 business days to reflect.
- Refunds will be considered solely at the discretion of the management and are not guaranteed.
- Contributions made toward workshops, residencies, or special programs are non-transferable.
3. Residency Extension
- Extensions may be granted based on alignment, contribution status, and availability of space.
- Extensions will be offered at the current applicable contribution rate, which may differ from the original residency offer.
- Jungli reserves the right to approve or decline extension requests without obligation to provide justification.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Once a residency offer has been accepted and an advance has been made, the contribution is non-refundable.
- If a resident chooses to withdraw from the program early or cancel participation, no refund or credit will be issued.
- Prepaid program contributions are not refundable under partial participation, late arrival, or early departure.
- Jungli may, at its discretion, terminate participation for violation of community guidelines, misconduct, or safety risks without refund.
5. Group & Collective Residency Policy
- Jungli's learning environment emphasizes focused and small-group participation.
- Group residencies exceeding eight participants require prior authorization and may only be conducted under an approved Retreat or Learning Program framework.
- Unauthorized group formations (including multiple individuals applying separately to bypass this rule) may be denied or cancelled before or upon arrival without refund.
- Groups of four or more participants may be allotted separate living spaces based on program design and availability.
- If a group or individual demonstrates behavior inconsistent with Jungli's community values, management retains full right to take necessary action, including immediate termination of participation without refund.
6. Arrival & Departure
To maintain rhythm and order within the community, arrival and departure follow set windows:
- Standard Arrival Time: 12:00 PM
- Standard Departure Time: 10:00 AM
Early arrival or late departure may be permitted only upon prior request and subject to availability.
Residents are welcome to use common spaces before or after official timings, at the discretion of the community team.
7. Conduct and Community Standards
- Residents are expected to conduct themselves with respect, maturity, and responsibility toward all community members, staff, and the natural environment.
- Any form of harassment, intoxication, violence, or property damage may result in immediate termination of residency without refund.
- Jungli reserves the right to request a participant to leave the campus at any time if their behavior or contribution is deemed inappropriate or misaligned with the residency's ethos.
- Residents may be required to sign a Learning Residency Agreement reaffirming these standards upon arrival.
8. Program Variations
Different spaces or seasonal programs within the Jungli campus (e.g., Serenne the Arthouse, Big Bungalow, Tapasya Villa) may maintain specific operational guidelines or contribution tiers based on purpose and use.
All variations will be communicated during the application or acceptance process.
9. Force Majeure
In cases of events beyond Jungli's reasonable control - such as natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or safety emergencies - the residency schedule may be modified, suspended, or cancelled.
In such cases, Jungli may offer a credit toward future participation at its discretion, but is not obligated to provide refunds.
10. Disclaimer
Jungli and Exalt Enviroklen Private Limited shall not be held liable for loss, injury, or damage to persons or property during participation in the residency, except where required by law.
Residents are encouraged to hold personal travel and medical insurance during their period of stay.
