Jungli 2024 - A Year in the Nomad Village

Jungli launched by asking a simple question: how can a community create a space that helps nomads and artists do their best work?
In May 2024, my family opened the doors to our ancestral property in South India towards this mission. In 8 months, 90 community members have flown in from across 10 countries to build our collective dreamland.
Here are some highlights from 2024, where we shine a light on residents that went above and beyond.
Our 2024 Wrap
- Nanda installed 200 mbps wifi in the jungle.
- Emily created our library.
- Malcolm created our podcast.
- Tenielle redesigned our bungalow into a vibe.
- Deepak took professional photos of our newly designed bungalow.
- Arathy created our brand, visual identity, and campus map.
- Mital created a space for aerial yoga.
- Pavi built us a voiceover booth out of bamboo and blankets.
- Aayush and Manasi helped activate our first independent bungalow.
- Arjun brought our brand to life with posters.
- Yohan taught us how to work our own tandoor.
- Shiva organised our first music performance at Soch.
- Jake wrote our first blog.
- Awilda's family showed us how kids can learn from the world, instead of traditional school.
- Shahala volunteered to take our kitchen operations to the next level.
- And Jess contributed a suitcase full of board games.
But there was one Jungli who really leaned in. Who didn't just take most of the photos you see on our website, but also referred a whopping 23 Junglis to our space this year.

My family and I are blown away by the help we are receiving to turn our legacy into something special. Every Jungli has left our space better than they found it.
Next year we are launching more independent bungalows. Hosting positive and productive retreats. Leaning into health, wellbeing, and fitness offerings. Creating fundamental systems to ensure we take care of the little things, so that you can focus on doing your best work.
